Rashid Metal ,Located at Muscat in the OMAN, an established supplier and manufacturer is recognized for exceptional grade and quality products of metals as well as services. They come in a myriad of alloys, and grades across industries, from the best Carbon Steel EN 353 Bars through exceptional toughness with great fatigue and wear resistance strength. These bars find extensive use in industries that demand reliable, high-performance materials, especially in the automobile and machine industries. Rashid Metals ensures that all products, including EN-353 Bars, meet strict quality standards for durability and performance.
Carbon Steel EN-353 bar This is high-quality alloy steel used in producing machine parts, shafts, and gears. It contains carbon (C) at an approximate percentage range of 0.18 to 0.23%, Mn at 0.60 to 0.90%, Cr at 0.30 to 0.60%, Mo at 0.20 to 0.35%, and other impurities phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) being trace elements. These strength and toughness capabilities are achieved because the steel can be hardened to a high value and tempered while having tensile values of 750-950 MPa and yielding at about 600 MPa. It presents a hardness within the range 22 to 30 HRC after heat treating, thus applied in heavy operations.

Common finishes for Carbon Steel EN-353 Bar include hot rolled, cold drawn, polished, bright, and ground. These finishes provide varying levels of smoothness, texture, and corrosion resistance for different applications.
Yes, Carbon Steel EN-353 Bar can be heat-treated. It is commonly heat-treated through processes like carburizing and quenching to improve its hardness, strength, and wear resistance.
Carbon Steel EN-353 Bar is commonly used for manufacturing high-strength components like gears, shafts, and axles, often in automotive, industrial machinery, and engineering applications requiring high tensile strength and wear resistance.
Carbon Steel EN-353 Bars are extensively used in high-strength and durable applications. They are typically used in gear, shafts, spindles, and other machine parts that have high wear resistance. EN-353 is also utilized in automotive, aerospace, and industrial machinery where parts are under high stress such as in power transmission systems, gearboxes, and turbine components. Strength combined with toughness, and wear resistance after heat treatment, makes the alloy suitable for high-performance applications, such as drive shafts, coupling components, and crankshafts, allowing for reliable functioning in harsh operating conditions.
